A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is one of the most important documents a family can have in place. It allows you to appoint trusted people to manage your affairs if you ever lose mental capacity — due to accident, illness, or a health crisis.
Chartwell offers a dedicated LPA service for employees at £350 (covering both LPAs — Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare). This includes acting as your Certificate Provider and submitting your documents to the Office of the Public Guardian.
The government registration fee is £92 per LPA (£184 for both), payable separately to the OPG.
